Facilities Needs Assessment

Midway ISD is dedicated to creating safe, functional, and inspiring environments that empower students and staff to excel. To support this mission, the district has partnered with Pfluger Architects to conduct a comprehensive Facilities Needs Assessment. This assessment provides a clear picture of the current condition of our campuses and facilities while identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.

Key areas of focus include:

  • District growth and demographic trends
  • Building conditions, safety, and security
  • Educational delivery and programmatic goals
  • Operational priorities, including technology, efficiency, and sustainability
  • Maintenance and upkeep to extend the life of existing facilities and ensure long-term functionality

Recognizing that well-maintained facilities are critical to the success of our students and staff, this assessment also emphasizes the importance of addressing deferred maintenance and creating schedules for regular upkeep. By protecting our investments in infrastructure, we ensure that our schools remain vibrant and efficient for years to come.
