GWAHCA

Through local partnerships, Midway High School students have the unique opportunity to participate in the Greater Waco Advanced Health Care Academy (GWAHCA), which is designed to equip Waco-area juniors and seniors with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue successful careers in the healthcare industry. 

Participating in this academy is a year-long commitment during which students will spend a portion of their day on the Midway High School campus and the remainder of their day on the GWAHCA campus. Through a challenging learning environment aligned with industry standards, GWAHCA encourages high expectations for success and provides students with the tools they need to thrive in the workforce.
