Water Polo

Midway High School is the only school in McLennan County – public or private – with boys and girls water polo. Club water polo was established for the swim team’s off-season in 2013, and was officially made a UIL sport in Texas in 2022. The MHS Girls Water Polo Team finished as Area Champs in the inaugural UIL season. 

MHS Water Polo practices at the Waco Family YMCA. Water polo season begins in early August, prior to the start of school. Contact the head coach for summer tryout information; athletic physicals are required for tryouts.
