BOARD MEETING RECAPKey highlights from our November Board of Trustees meeting:

  • Legislative Priorities: The Midway ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved its 2025 legislative priorities, drawing attention to the pressing challenges the district faces due to inadequate state funding and the push for school voucher programs.
  • MCAD Appointment: Midway allocated all 743 of its votes to Trustee Jonathan Green for the McLennan Central Appraisal District Board of Directors, ensuring strong representation in property valuation decisions impacting local schools and taxpayers.

  • Panther Parent Hacks: Learn how to get school events saved from Parent Square right to your calendar! Panther Parent Hacks help Midway parents stay up to speed and up to date.
  • Support Midway ISD Hunger Free: Midway sends home about 325 bags of food with students who have a need for additional food support during the weekend. Right now we are in need of about $24,000 to make it through our holiday boxes for Thanksgiving + Christmas and then also our continued weekly bags the remainder of the school year. We'd love for you to consider supporting this program this holiday season.
