Midway Athlete Takes Podium at State Powerlifting Championships

Midway High School Powerlifting made a strong showing at the 2024 State Championships.

Midway High School powerlifter Azlynn Mueller won third place in the 2024 state championships.

Azlynn Mueller earned a spot on the state podium, finishing her season in third place out of 149 lifters statewide in her weight class. Azlynn's lifts included a 405-pound squat, 205-pound bench press, and 370-pound deadlift.

Faith Echols also competed at state, securing an impressive eighth-place finish in her weight class against 70 competitors statewide.

Faith’s lifts included a 390-pound squat, 175-pound bench press, and 325-pound deadlift.
