The Midway ISD Communications Team has been recognized among the best in Texas, earning multiple top awards at the Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA) State Star Awards for the 2023-24 school year.

The 2023 Star awards were recently announced at TSPRA’s annual conference in late February, and every single submission from Midway ISD Communications earned a gold rating, indicating the highest quality for published work.

Midway Independent School District announced Emily Parks as the district’s next director of communications at the Tuesday, Jan. 23. Board of Trustees meeting.

At the June Midway ISD school board meeting, Director of Communications Traci Marlin highlighted the successful completion of a three-year strategic plan aimed at enhancing communication systems within the district.

The Midway ISD Communications Department won top honors at the Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA) conference through the annual Star Awards, which recognize outstanding contributions in education communications.
