An iconic piece of Midway history has returned to its original home looking better than ever thanks to students in Midway High School’s Agriculture Mechanics program.
Not many students get to experience winning a state competition during their time in high school, and even fewer can say they won for restoring a 72-year-old piece of farm equipment.
Earlier this month, three Midway High School students competed in the Texas FFA Tractor Technician championship, advancing to the finals and finishing in fourth place out of hundreds of teams who initially began competing this year.
