For the ninth straight year, Midway ISD has been awarded the highest possible rating of “Superior Achievement” under the Texas Education Agency’s Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST).
For the eighth consecutive year, Midway ISD has been recognized for upholding the highest standards of financial integrity and transparency set by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
Midway ISD commissioned a financial efficiency audit according to House Bill 3 (2019) to review district data on accountability, students, staffing, and finances, including comparisons with peer districts and state data.
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) released STAAR results for high school students in late May and for third-eighth grade students in late August of 2023.

Midway ISD received high marks as an A-rated district in state accountability ratings for the 2021-2022 school year. Ratings were last released by the Texas Education Agency in 2019 due to COVID-related pauses, and since then the district not only retained its A rating but gained 3 points for an overall score of 96.
