Castleman Creek Elementary Fifth Grade Teacher Elleana Roseburgh received the 2024 Emerging Professional Development School Leader Award from the National Association for School-University Partnerships.

A Midway elementary school teacher was awarded this month for her contributions to the field of education.

This spring, Castleman Creek Elementary School Kindergarten Teacher Stacy Spink was surprised in her classroom with the news that she has been selected as a teacher finalist in the 2023 H-E-B Excellence in Education statewide awards.

“This was the greatest gift anyone has ever given me and my family,” Peggy Pritchett, English as a Second Language program facilitator at Spring Valley Elementary School, said.

In Niche.com’s 2023 rankings, Midway ISD continues to be recognized as one of the top 15 school districts in Texas, earning the title of #1 Best School District in McLennan County and the Waco Area with an overall grade of A+ for the sixth consecutive year and ranking among the top 3% of school districts in America.
