This national honor recognizes her contribution to fostering effective partnerships between schools and universities while making a positive impact on student learning.

Castleman Creek is one of several Midway campuses that partner with the Baylor University School of Education as Professional Development Schools to help train aspiring teachers.

Ms. Roseburgh, a Midway alum, began the 2023-24 school year at Castleman as a Baylor student intern. She worked alongside a teacher who came out of retirement to serve as her mentor teacher, balancing the dual roles of being a learner and instructor.

After completing her internship and graduating college in December, she was hired as the lead teacher in the same classroom starting in the spring semester.
