Midway ISD is taking significant strides in preparing students for the future through its evolving College and Career Readiness (CCR) and Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.

Midway High School junior Stephanie Starks has once again won first place in the 2024 Congressional App Challenge in Texas’ 17th Congressional District.

Midway FFA Teams showcased their skills at the Area 8 LDE Contest on Nov. 22, with the Greenhand Quiz and Ag Issues teams each earning an impressive 3rd place overall finish.

A member of Midway High School's HOSA-Future Health Professionals chapter won first place in the Math for Health Professionals state contest and advanced to secure a top-10 finish at the HOSA International Leadership Conference this summer.

Midway High School Career and Technical Education student Kalissa Davis advanced to compete at the FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) National Leadership Conference in July, placing among the top 15 students in the nation in the Fashion Construction category. 

Midway High School journalism students were awarded for their photography and writing at the state and national levels this year.

Two Midway High School FFA teams advanced to the state contest this spring and placed among the top 10 in their Career Development Events.

The Business Professionals of America (BPA) National Leadership Conference was a success for Midway High School with eight students advancing to compete in business and information technology skills events at the national level.
