Out of hundreds of applicants, Speegleville Elementary School is one of only 20 schools across the country—and the first in Waco—selected to receive a Kendra Scott Foundation Yellow Library.

Longtime volunteer Nancy Walker received an unexpected surprise during Tuesday night’s PTA meeting at Speegleville Elementary School.

Each season, the Midway HS Football Team visits elementary campuses and the players read to the elementary students. Last Friday, the coaches brought the team to read to kids at Speegleville Elementary.
