Each season, the Midway HS Football Team visits elementary campuses and the players read to the elementary students. Last Friday, the coaches brought the team to read to kids at Speegleville Elementary.
Amy Cheatham said, “My Pre-K class (and the whole school) was absolutely in awe of them! These high school boys were so sweet and gracious with my class and were wonderful examples for them. They might of well have been NFL players because it was all my class talked about all day! I love times when our Midway campuses can interact with each other and especially love this tradition of having the “big kids” come into our classrooms to read for the elementary kiddos.”
