In the 30th year of Special Olympics at Midway ISD, the high school UIL Unified Track and Field team demonstrated the program’s profound impact, winning first place at the regional meet and advancing to compete at the state level.

A Midway High School student has been awarded one of the highest honors presented to youth by the U.S. Congress after dedicating over 1,000 hours to goal setting and community service.
