The District is exploring the opportunity to utilize Tango Flight— a curriculum that allows students to build a plane over a two-year time period.
While building the plane, the students receive instruction related to a number of engineering fields, build workforce skills and abilities, develop “essential skills”, and acquire some level of post-secondary credit/credentialing. Tango Flight will not be implemented unless donations fund the “one-time” set-up fee ($16,500) and the refundable program fee ($90,000).
