Sitting in the audience at Midway ISD’s Distinguished Service Award presentation, it was impossible not to feel inspired by the stories of life change that were shared.

It’s no secret that Midway staff are always willing to go the extra mile, and that’s exactly what Lindsey Pick, fourth grade teacher at South Bosque Elementary School, did last week by saving the life of a fellow teacher.

Dr. Emily Neubert and Annie Rhodes were inducted into the Midway High School Athletics Hall of Fame last week during an on-field ceremony and plaque presentation before Friday night’s varsity football game at Panther Stadium.

Each year, Midway ISD honors companies and individuals for their contributions and commitment to supporting educational excellence in our local community schools.
