On Wednesday April 26, seven ensembles from the Midway High School Choir Department showcased their talent at the Region 8 North Zone UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Evaluation. A total of seven ensembles participated in the competition and earned top scores for their exceptional performances.

Seventeen Midway ISD students advanced to the state level of the PTA Reflections art contest this spring and were awarded by Texas PTA for their outstanding artwork.

A group of Midway High School students is receiving recognition from two respected national programs—the National Cyber Scholarship Foundation (NCSF) and CyberPatritot—for their mastery of cybersecurity concepts cultivated through Midway’s career and technical education program.

Midway High School Robotics made history at this year’s UIL 6A State Robotics Tournament where they took home first place and won the program’s first-ever state title.

Midway High School senior swimmer Carson Blair made waves this year in his final high school swim season, competing at the UIL State Swim Meet and earning recognition as one of the top high school swimmers in Texas while breaking several school records—including his own—in the process.

U.S. News and World Report evaluated thousands of public high schools to identify the top performers in their 2022 rankings, and once again Midway High School has earned a top spot.

Midway High School freshman Stephanie Starks was recently named runner-up in the 2022 Congressional App Challenge in Texas’ 17th Congressional District.
