At first it might seem like nachos and waffles have nothing in common, but for Midway High School’s Student Chef Team this was the perfect combination.

Earlier this month, three Midway High School students competed in the Texas FFA Tractor Technician championship, advancing to the finals and finishing in fourth place out of hundreds of teams who initially began competing this year.

Midway ISD will be represented by three Woodgate Intermediate students at this year’s Texas Science and Engineering Fair. Congratulations to state finalists Katelyn Burrows, Autumn McAdoo and Jayla Stewart!
