Midway High School senior Shiroz Kazani is being honored as the Youth Citizen of the Year by the Rotary Club of Waco for embodying their motto “Service Above Self.” Twenty-two students from area high schools were nominated for the award, and Shiroz earned the top honor along with a $4,000 scholarship.
