Midway ISD Board of Trustees Secretary Pam Watts has earned the designation of Master Trustee upon completion of Leadership TASB, a program sponsored by the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB).
Board members in the 2023-24 Leadership TASB class presented their team’s findings following a yearlong research project examining key issues in Texas public education.
Participants also received extensive training in effective board governance, heard keynote addresses from education experts, and gained valuable insights and ideas from district leaders at the TASB Summer Leadership Institute.
Watts joins the ranks of more than 1,000 school board members statewide who are Leadership TASB alumni.
Participants who completed all required elements of the study program earned Master Trustee status; the highest designation recognized by TASB.
