High School Teacher Named 2024 Outstanding Texas Educator

Midway High School Chemistry Teacher Krystle Moos has been named the Texas Academy of Sciences 2024 Outstanding Texas Educator.

Midway High School Chemistry Teacher Krystle Moos (left) was recognized in January by the Midway ISD Board of Trustees after being named the 2024 Outstanding Texas Educator by the Texas Academy of Sciences.

Moos was chosen from a statewide pool of educators for her dedication and contributions to science education in Texas.

In addition, Mrs. Moos was also named a state finalist last year in the 2023 Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) and is a National Board Certified Teacher.

As the TAS Outstanding Texas Educator, Mrs. Moos is invited to give a presentation at the 2024 Texas Academy of Sciences annual Meeting in March where she will have the opportunity to share her passion for science education with fellow educators from across the state.
