Midway ISD campuses are once again recognized as some of the best schools in Waco by the 2024 Waco Tribune-Herald Heart of Texas Readers’ Choice Awards.
The district swept the secondary categories, winning first place for Best Public Middle School and Best Public High School, and secured two of the top three spots for Best Public Elementary School.

Chapel Park Elementary — Favorite
South Bosque Elementary — Favorite
Best Public Middle School:
River Valley Middle School — Winner
Midway Middle School — Favorite
Best Public High School:
Midway High School — Winner
