Midway High School is proud to announce that junior Nandini Kadakia made a perfect score of 36 on the ACT exam.

“I was in utter disbelief, like I had no idea I could have done that,” Kadakia said.
With less than 2% of test takers earning a perfect score, she is among the nation’s top performers with this incredibly rare accomplishment.
She’s been preparing for the exam since December, utilizing Midway resources at the College and Career Readiness Center. She took the test in March and got her results back April 12.
“That was the second time I took the ACT. So to prep, I came to Mrs. Miles, the study session she has here. She has a really great program that helps a lot,” Kadakia said. “So once I took a practice ACT, I could figure out what my weaknesses were and what my strengths were. ”
Kadakia is the vice president of the MHS diversity council, a HOSA member and involved in theater. She plans to pursue a medical degree after graduating high school.
“Everyone here at Midway is really supportive, and so I could talk to my friends about what test prep they were doing, and my math teacher helped a lot,” Kadakia said.
Kadakia is one of two students this year to achieve a 36 on the ACT, alongside MHS senior Esther Kim, making Kadakia the eighth Midway ISD student to make a perfect score since 2019.
