Midway Schools Named Waco's Best Public Schools in 2023 Readers' Choice Awards

Midway ISD schools are consistently recognized as some of the best in Waco, and this year is no exception.

The district once again swept the Best Public School categories in the Waco Tribune-Herald Heart of Texas Readers’ Choice Awards with three campuses voted first-place winners for 2023:

Best Public Elementary School: Chapel Park Elementary School

Best Public Middle School: Midway Middle School

Best Public High School: Midway High School

In addition, Midway was honored as a Favorite Place to Work in Waco.

Castleman Creek and Spring Valley Elementary Schools were also voted favorites in the Public Elementary School category, and River Valley Middle School was named a favorite in the Public Middle School category.
