During the fall semester, fifth grade Gifted & Talented (GT) students district-wide selected an “passion project” and way they could make a positive impact.
Woodway Elementary PTA helped partner with GT to fund a field trip where the students visited and served at several of the local non-profits that students selected for their passion project. PTA volunteers said, "Over and over, we heard students say this is the best field trip they have ever gone on.”
