U.S. News and World Report evaluated nearly 25,000 public high schools to identify the top performers in their 2024 rankings. Midway High School continues to be ranked #1 in Waco area high schools.
The school is also among the top 12% of nearly 18,000 nationally-ranked high schools and in the top 11% of over 2,000 high schools ranked in Texas.
Additionally, in the Wacoan's Best of Waco 2024 survey, Midway High School was once again voted Best Public High School in Waco.
