The Midway ISD Board of Trustees named Jennifer Allison as the district’s next Principal of River Valley Middle School Tuesday, May 21, during its regular called board meeting.

She has served as principal at Lorena Middle School since 2017. She has also served in Katy ISD and Amarillo ISD.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer Allison back to Midway ISD,” MISD Superintendent Dr. Chris Allen said. “She is known for her deep commitment to student and staff success and her passion for education. We are confident that under her leadership, River Valley Middle School will continue to thrive and provide the exceptional educational environment we expect for our students.”
Allison began her education career teaching Agriculture Science and Family Consumer Science at the middle and high school level. She joined Midway ISD in 2002 as Assistant Principal at Midway High School before overseeing the Midway High School CTE program and eventually taking the Principal position at Midway Middle School in 2008.
Allison earned a master’s degree in educational administration from Sam Houston State University and a bachelor’s degree in science from Texas A&M University.
Beginning in July, Allison will transition as the new leader of River Valley MS. She takes over for Paul Offill who was named the district’s new Assistant Superintendent for Administrative Services in April.
